From the moment the words "Cumberland Falls" came out of Megan's mouth, we were sold. It isn't every day that you get to shoot a wedding at such a beautiful location and we were beyond excited for Nick and Megan's big day. As you know with outdoor weddings, weather is always a bit of a gamble; and this situation was no different. As they day approached, no one could ignore the fact that there was a substantial chance of rain. In an attempt to play it safe (and rightly so) the couple made the decision last minute to hold the service indoors. While at first they were slightly disappointed with having to move their ceremony inside the famous Dupont Lodge, I think you will agree that it ended up being a blessing in disguise. As the ceremony was about to start, the clouds seemed to open up and provide the most beautiful weather (the answer to many prayers) allowing them to move the ceremony officially to the beautiful back patio of the lodge over looking the river. The back drop perfectly highlighted the gorgeous arch -- get this-- custom made by the GROOM for his bride. It was FLAWLESS.

Thank you so much Megan and Nick for having us along on such a magical day. We wish you both the best!
