After more than 5 years of being wedding photographers, we can honestly say that there are few things that bring us more joy on a wedding day than getting to experience (and capture) the close bond many of our brides and grooms share with their parents. We love seeing the happy tears, the hugs, and the sweet interactions between our couples and their parents during one of the biggest days of their life. Chelsie and Casey were no exception; it was so much fun watching their two seperate families come together as one, sharing in laughter, dancing and celebrating the union of two wonderful people.

Casey and Chelsie had such a beautiful day from start to finish! We began the morning with Chelsie and all of her lovely ladies in their hotel suite prepping and primping for the day to come. We had an absolute ball styling all of the beautiful wedding accessories (just wait until you see them-- Wedding Goals) while listening and dancing along with the girls to some of our FAVE 90's hits.

Chelsie put so much time and thought into every little detail and it most definitely made the day even more special. Her bouquet was complete with unique vintage broaches, her dress with cinderella like sparkle, but by far the most sentimental detail was a small blue fabric heart sewn into the own bodice made from a piece of her late grandfather's shirt. Even though he couldn't be there in person, he was there in spirit and was even able to  walk his beautiful granddaughter down the aisle.

The couple shared their first look in a quaint Kentucky apple orchard and after a few sweet moments together following that first glimpse, we headed off towards downtown to capture the special bride/groom portraits everyone dreams of hanging over the mantle in their first home together.

All in all, Casey and Chelsie's day was nothing short of a picture perfect fairytale. We feel so honored to have been chosen to play such a big role on such a big day for these two. Enjoy this little peek into their day!
